CAROLINE CASAGRANDE

Caroline Casagrande is an energetic reformer who looks forward to brining the message of what has happened in Trenton to the citizens of District 12. Ms. Casagrande is a life long Monmouth County resident, having been born and raised in Spring Lake with her five brothers and sisters. She attended Red Bank Catholic High School, and the Pennsylvania State University where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During her time at Penn State, Ms. Casagrande served as Student Body President, representing the voices of the 53,000 students.

Ms. Casagrande received her juris doctorate from Rutgers School of Law, where she was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. During her legal career, Ms. Casagrande has spent time serving as a law clerk in the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Attorney General Office- Division of Law and Public Safety. After serving a clerkship with the Honorable Robert W. O’Hagan in Monmouth County Superior Court, Ms. Casagrande joined the Matawan firm of Cleary, Alfieri, Jones & Hoyle. During her time at the firm, Ms. Casagrande has served as the Associate Borough Attorney of the Borough of Fair Haven and currently serves as the Township Attorney for the Township of Manalapan.

Ms. Casagrande resided in Freehold Township before moving to Colts Neck in 2005. Ms. Casagrande currently lives in Colts Neck with her husband Stephen Chance and beagle Reagan.
